Westside story meets the Hunger games on crack, or should I say on sweets. Meager gave a brilliant description of this insane world. While reading this, you might feel that the drug and alcohol use among the teens is a little far-fetched, but sadly it is pretty accurate to the real world. I haven't read any YA dystopian books in a while. To be honest, they were starting to bore me. Irish Town pulled me back in. This book has everything, including strong female characters. I can't wait to see what Meagher has to offer next.
