much worse than the first one, the author keeps trying to created tension between claire and jaime because there's no longer the intrigue of jaime not knowing claire is from 1945. the whole thing about how jaime can't kill jack randall because that might (MIGHT!!) prevent frank from being born was stupid. also claire blaming jaime for losing the baby?? wtf. and then she asks him to beat her because she feels so bad??? i hate it here. also jaime can't just be giving random names to people. sorry to people named fergus, that's a worse name than claudel.
