Update: Was I drunk when I wrote this?? What do you mean I gave this five stars? I remember not liking this book, not "I thought Nevermore was a good final book." Whenever I get around to reading that completely unnecessary "new last book" I'm going to reread this and figure out what the hell happened.

I thought that Nevermore was a good final book, I had one major problem but I really liked everything else.

First half of the book I was pissed at Fang for making goo-goo eyes at Maya (aka Max II). Really Fang, really. I would have preferred you went out and found someone new or started liking Kate or Star (those traitors). But no, you had to go for the one who's a clone of Max. Which is was I totally didn't blame Max for kinda liking Dylan (weird, I know because I hated him). Also for the first half I started liking Dylan at the same time Max was. He wasn't so bad (until he went koo-koo). I'll always ship Max and Fang but Dylan grew on me until the crazy part, then he got annoying again.

Things I didn't really like was the ending. Hello, for 8 books Max was told to save the world. Did she save the world, no not really. She's just sitting on an island ready to help those that survived the end of the world. James, I thought you were actually going to have her save the dang world, not just a small part of it. I also didn't like the fact that he brought Ari back to still be evil but not I-want-to-kill-Max-even-though-I-love-her evil. I liked Ari in book 3 and missed him when he died. Then he gets brought back and it just ruined it for me.
