God, you really forget how much talent Siken's got until you sit down and read through it again.

Crush sort of became iconic for say gay yearning and loss and while very, very different (and arguably more mature?) Foxes is still recognizably Richard Siken. I once again regret skipping every poetry course known to man because I simply don't have the education to explain why it works. It just does.
