Did not finish around 30%

I knew what I was getting into when I started this book… or I thought I did… Standard detective novel… I assumed there would be a damsel/love interest… a double cross… etc.

However, the love interest frustrated me and I just couldn’t read further.

Harry (a Norwegian) travels to Australia to investigate the death of a prominent Norwegian. On the first day he interviews a woman that’s connected to the victim. She’s Swedish (and of course drop dead gorgeous)… so Harry goes on a date and sleeps with her…?… Like: what? She’s literally the FIRST witness/person of interest you interviewed and then you jumped into bed with her? There are SOOO many problems with that…

I just… that put me off so badly that I couldn’t keep reading… I just found it annoying and frustrating.
