I am so glad to have read Adenas side of events while Pae was in the castle doing the trials. I loved Powerless and knew I needed to read this one, and it did not let me down! I love that we see Adena still slumming it in loot and making a friend to help her survive. Makoto was such an amazing character that his grumpy to Adenas sunshine was just the best! I loved their banter and how he finally let her in with all of his horrible past. Mak went through so much as a kid, and his relationship with Hera was just so special. I loved this book and can not wait for Reckless! Roll on July!
