I've just finished reading The King in Yellow, and while this isn't the type of book I would normally read, I ended up really enjoying this collection of short stories. The one thing I wasn't sure about was how some of the stories were connected to "The King in Yellow," as my understanding was that all the short stories would be connected somehow. The first few had obvious connections, but the connections became sparse as I got further into the book. Regardless of that, I did enjoy them for what they were.
