This book was awesome. It had me laughing more than any other book ever had and Bill Bryson’s writing style truly made me feel as if I was hiking the Appalachian trail with him. I enjoyed the balance between comedy, the author’s experience on the trail and the history and science behind it. I finally read this book after many, many recommendations and now I can say that after finishing it, I would highly recommend it myself!
