I was beside myself with excitement when I got this ARC! I love Elsie Silver and this book was no exception. Ford and Rosie were so much fun! Their banter was top notch and the tension between them was unbearable at times.

There were so many elements of the story that I loved, each of which tied in together so wonderfully. First of all, there was the childhood frenemies to colleagues to lovers. Ford and Rosie seamlessly transition from one to the next, with only a little bit of angst along the way. Their relationship was so special because they knew each other so well and so wholly. They were also both in a place of new beginnings, with Rosie returning home to start fresh and Ford opening his recording studio, oh and also finding out he’s a father. The way that they help each other and lift each other up was everything.

The single father storyline was so well done and written in a way that was fresh and interesting. Cora was a wonderful character and the way that she impacted both Ford and Rosie in their journeys, and vice versa, gave me all the found family vibes.

I loved the setting and the side characters and the cameo from Willa.

I definitely recommend this and am looking forward to the rest of the books in this series! Thank you to for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
