The Artemis Fowl books are nifty and fun, and the last installment is no different. I had a few problems with it---like, Opal's plan and her knowledge of stuff was never explained to my satisfaction, and the ending was a bit, well, too quick---but it's a pleasure to see our heroes drawn together for a final battle against Opal Koboi, the nemesis who simply won't stop scheming. I am sad it's over, but I guess you could say Artemis's story is being told all over against somewhere ;)
