“Maybe that’s why we as a species love stories so much. All those chances for do-overs, opportunities to live the lives we’ll never have.” —Nora Stephens, page 354

book lovers really balances the line between romance and family. unlike henry’s other adult novels, this leaves most (though not all) of the drama with nora’s little sister, libby. it’s a different flavor of romance, one without big leaps for the hero and heroine’s own relationship (à la pwmov’s city change, etc). everything about their love is subtle, it’s healing, it’s growth—it demands only truth and that’s what nora and charlie have. they heal each other!
