A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

4.5

This totally brought me back to my younger days, when I was shamelessly binge watching Veronica Mars.

Pip is a studious goody two shoes who decides to do her high school senior project on a closed murder case. She is convinced there is more to the story than what everyone in the community so easily accepted.

The story is well written and engaging, with suspects and assumptions constantly shifting. This is one that I would recommend listening to as an audiobook - it is so well done with a full cast and special sound effects for interviews to add to the experience.

Content: language, darker themes
