It feels weird to rate a self-help book  but this book deserves every star. I picked this up randomly in December not knowing anything about it and  thought it sounded like a financial book I might actually enjoy! Plus I loved that it was pink! 

If you’re someone who is looking for a book on finances and need something a little more gentle and realistic than other financial advice books out there, I highly recommend this one. Dunlap does such a good job of addressing so many other issues surrounding money, such as our emotional response to money, and doesn’t just give you an all or nothing approach that is hard to follow. She is also funny and cusses a lot and does such a good job of making a discussion around money not be so uncomfortable. As someone who often struggles with feeling “I should already know all of this” when it comes to money, I learned so much and also felt like I was being taught by a kind and empathetic teacher!
