The Day the Crayons Came Home by Drew Daywalt

5.0

Duncan is now receiving letters from estranged crayons who would like to return the his color box. Each letter is filled with adventures, pleas for help, and/or stories of trauma.
I actually kinda liked the pea green crayon before, but now that he's renamed himself "Esteban the Magnificent" it's a definite favorite. :)

Plus, who doesn't love a spooky appearance from our friend Glow in the Dark Crayon?

This book is still about as long as it's predecessor, so I plan to try it at storytime, but I'm not sure whether it will be able to hold their concentration. But I hope it does because I think I love this one even more than the original!
