An Old-Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott
2.0
I hate giving a Louisa May Alcott book so few stars; it feels wrong. But this book was just too preachy. I love the scene in Little Women where Meg goes to the coming out party and learns a valuable lesson about being herself and such. But a whole book about how rich people are always frivolous, selfish, and disreputable but that poor people are stuffed full of piety and good character - it was a bit too much.
