Broken Vessels: 1 star

This is a couple page comic about the barbarian wielder of the Hyperborean sword meeting a crazy magic man who is trying to utilize magic from bones of magical ancestors. This was a pointless comic because nothing relevant happens and it provides no new information about the hyperborea sword or welder. 

Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1953 - Wandering Souls - 3 stars

This was a BPRD story with Hellboy and Susan investigating a haunted coal tipple and finding it haunted by ghosts of Chinese immigrant workers who were massacred. This was short but well written and the action scenes were good. I liked this one. 

Mood Swings - 2 stars

This was a short story with Hellboy trying to give teenage Liz a good Christmas but instead are attacked by parasite infected snowmen. It was an ok story. 

Kuang Pao Lobster - 2 stars

This was a two page comic with Lobster Johnson finding the Chinese place he was at is out of the food he wants and having to settle on something else. This was weird and I didn’t love the artwork.
