Yummy: A History of Desserts by Victoria Grace Elliott

informative

5.0

First thing first, the illustration's spectacular. Pretty, colorful (I love it because it consists of a lot of pastel colors), and it's so neat. I can see that the illustrator put so much effort into this.

The book tells about the history of dessert, just like how the title said. It is not a boring one, not too detailed, but the perfect amount of information that I found this book enjoyable.

It also included some fun facts about the desserts mentioned there. Which country, what ingredients, where the name comes from, etc.

Extra points for the book because at the end of each chapter, they will give you simple recipes for the desserts!!!
