I tried to make it through this one for a book club, but just couldn't do it. I listened to the audio, which is read by the author, and it was a mix of her reading voice and the book's subject matter that had me give up about a third of the way through. I'm sure that it will work for some readers, but it just didn't hold my attention and it felt too pretentious for my taste.
