First, I'd like to thank Ms. Stevens for sending me a free copy and allowing me to review it!

I liked the book, but it also has a few minuses for me. The beginning of the book is a bit hard to understand and follow. The main character is pretty young, then he returns and has 17 years old (mentioned in chapter 6?) and so on so forth. It's like a march in front and behind for a few chapters. There are also some characters that appear out of nowhere and if you ask me,are irrelevant to the story (some of them I really forgot who they were..).
But besides those little minuses I really liked the story and the plot. I mean, honestly, WHO doesn't like mermaids???
