Stars in an Italian Sky by Jill Santopolo

4.0

I'm a fan of Jill Santopolo's other works. This one was ok for me but I prefer her contemporary fiction. The dual timeline is easy to follow. It’s a story about how a couple ended up taking different sides during the unsettling times and it caused a misunderstanding. The narrative is full of interesting details about Italy which I really enjoyed, especially the culture and traditions. It's a story of lost love and the pressure families put on couples when planning a wedding. Overall a good read. Thank you!
