honestly i read it at first and couldn't get into it so i got the audiobook.
not gonna lie it had me in the first quarter of the book and then i got bored whilst frustrated as well. theres several points i want to state.
1. other mommy wasn't really giving what its supposed to give for me. it got really predictable on what would happen if she was to appear.
2. i think the author gave an 8 year old a lot of grace because i was frustrated on how she was (to me) older yet young as well? like it was hard to follow.
3. i think its kinda wild the parents practically trauma dumped on a kid thats "sleeping" like she should be in school i felt so damn bad.
4. i'm glad i got the audiobook bc when i was reading it at first i thought daddo was a typo for a good minute.
i wanted to like it because its been talked about so highly but it fell flat for me. it was just frustrating them going in circles and nothing really happening.
