I am vacillating between giving this book one and a half stars, and one star.

Read this book if you want: 
  • Nonsensical, muddled, character, motivations 
  • Unnecessary and unexplored romance
  • Very minimal and confusing world building
  • Confusing and unrealistic plot elements
  • Telling and not showing for so many plot elements, including relationships, and more!
  • Weird writing. “Whipping us into havoc”? Is that even a phrase?
  • Info dumping in the last 95 percent that still doesn’t answer questions.
  • So. Many. Plot holes.
