Honestly this has a lot of flaws. The characters are positively awful, at times it feels preachy, it’s desperately unbelievable, and the writing is a touch bland. But you know what? I had to read it in one sitting because I wanted to see what was next. So it did it’s job. Maybe it’s more of a 3.5 but I’ll round up as the author took some big risks that I can respect.
I don’t really understand why the ending is so polarizing though? People really need to be spoonfed sometimes and that’s a shame. I find the unanswered questions here are more satisfying to me than the answered ones
