What can I say about a book that I love as much as I love this one or this series. I love this author and I love her books. This a protagonist that shows that it is okay to be a strong woman and still be a feminine woman. Alanna proves that you can be all that you want to be and not have to give up on any of your dreams.


I reread this over the last day and a half. I still love it. I am always drawn to these books. I read others, and I always come back and read them. To me they are a timeless set of books, I am going to move on to the next series.

The growth of Alanna through the series is amazing. I have always considered her a tremendous role model to young ladies and even old ones like me.
