Eerie Archives Volume 12 by Wallace Wood
2.0
As a reproduction, I love this series. Love getting the letters pages and so on as well as just the stories - that's invaluable.
As far as the contents, this is well into the period of Eerie that I didn't enjoy as much as the earlier more traditional short story anthology format. There are continuing stories or variable quality. Almost all the art is exemplary, some of the best of its time (or, frankly, ever), but quite a lot of the writing felt stretched and overwritten.
Overall, unfortunately, I can't really say I enjoyed this book. By the end, it was a slog to finish.
