Objectivly this book is so so stupid and has weird insect and age differences and other problematic content BUT damn Cassandra Clare can write in a way that makes me read for hours at s time. Part of it is probably nostalgia but even when I cringe every other chapter I will be continue my rereading through the series bc for me it still hits the spot somehow :’)
