I'm so bummed by this series conclusion. I gave a lot of time to the books, and this one just took things in a different direction for me, and I didn't enjoy any of it. The protagonist changed as a character, as well as physically, and his singular focus on finding and destroying the man who created Furnace prison (while fighting his way through a WWIII-ravaged world to get to him) was just boring. I really liked the first few books for the most part, and I'm sad they all ended this way. On to better things!
