✨️ Oh... my ... goodness!! I did not expect the heartache and all the emotions this book put me through. But then again, who am I lying to? It's SJM, I should know better, right?

🗡 Unlike her other series, I didn't think this book started slow. It definitely had me interested in the story. However, I thought the plot line was moving slowly throughout the book. But I get it, she was building up to everything, the world, the characters and their personalities and emotions, the friendships, etc...so you can get to know them and decide if you like them or not 😉. I did roll my eyes at some conversations or some actions, but I was invested. And then, the last 200 ish pages...
💥𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗠💥...action packed, gut-wrenching, heart-aching, teary eyes...all the feelings! 😭

🪽 But it was good. The murder mystery part of it was intriguing, even though it was sad, considering who the victim was, and when you find out the truth...🤯. There are many different characters that you'll end up despising, loving and adoring, and so many different beings besides humans, fae, angels and archangels, witches, shifters, mer people, sprites, reapers, demons...that just keep the story interesting.

This urban fantasy has it all, adventure, smiles, and heartache. I'm curious to see what will happen in the second book.

🌙 The 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 adventure continues....
