Three years ago, my husband came home with a pile of books for me that he found for free on Facebook. That pile included maybe 15 of these Stephanie Plum books, which I had never even heard of before. Unfortunately, the installments were all over the road, and the earliest one was #9, so I've spent the last three years filling in the blanks as I've come across them at Goodwill. I now have books 1-26 so I've decided to go ahead and dive in. I'm going to try to read as many of them as possible before the new year when I'll be back to focusing on reading challenges.
I really enjoyed this first one. If they maintain this quick pace, which I expect they will, I will probably be able to knock them out quickly and hopefully not get bored. Stephanie Plum is a likeable character, and Janet Evanovich does a good job fleshing out her world while keeping the excitement level high. I'm looking forward to continuing on with this series.
