So I've started this book right after I finished the first book "Steelheart". SO I'll say this up front this book was not as good as the 1st book BUT this one does make you wanna pick up the next book right away.

David : 'We don't kill epics we kill criminals'

Now talking about the plot more, it moved along smoothly but the tension and the effect of the plot twist's were little bit of a notch down. Other than that Megan and David moments were good, for godsake he didn't introduce a love triangle and the action was good and the new Epic's powers were cool too.
