i thought this book was going to be 3 stars, as it took so long for me to finish it with my reading slump, my highschool years. i've been reading it since January 2019.

however it, despite it being completely fictional, had helped me heal - revive - scarred parts of my soul that i had lost while undergoing hardships in the past two years.

this book made me cry at times; not because of it being sad or it making me upset, not at all. Rather, because of the heaps and hills of emotions - good ones - it made me feel that had no escape other than through tears.

i don't care what anyone says about this book (except for... well, if there's any crisitsm from people who have more say in it and about it than i do), it is dear to me, this book, now forever.
