4.5 stars :))

this has certain story similarities to legally blonde, worldbuilding like amari and the night brothers, and potkin and stubbs plot and ambiance. which is a sentence i really never thought i'd say, but here we are. i didn't expect to be so interested in a part murder mystery, part courtroom trial but it worked really well.

i love the main trio's friendship a lot, especially elizabeth and natalie!! it was v nice that they were so different but neither was seen as "better" (yes, not like other girls writers, this is a callout post) and instead they appreciated/admired each other :)))

the whole book is Good Content tbh
