If you are looking for a classic fairy tale (but also very original) that’s also funny and has great twists then this is the book for you.
Its a quick 235 page story that doesn’t take a lot to understand the world and has the classic plot of boy loves girl so he will do something ridiculous to win her love while also learning a few lessons along the way. Oh, and don’t forget the happily ever after ending. It was cute, corny, and just the right amount of drama that you expect from a silly little fairy tale book. Next time I read this will be as an audiobook, where I found out that Neil Gaiman himself is the narrator. So I will literally be hearing this book in Gaiman’s own words, which I’m very excited about.
