⭐️⭐️. 75 stars. Oh thank fuck I finished this book. It felt never ending and not in a good way. I have such a love-hate relationship with this book. Love because it’s nice to appreciate how much they went through and persevered. But hate because the sisters did too much in this book. Too many extra povs that I skipped and too much unnecessary detail that I either skimmed or skipped. The only extra pov that I appreciated was Leon. He was my absolute favorite MMC in Ruthless boys so any snippet I got of him, I loved it. But literally any other pov, I skipped because the first time I read this, I thought they were 100% unnecessary. I know I’m sounding like such a pessimist but the only good things about this book were the small snippets of bluelance and Seth and Caleb with the occasional sweet Xavier moments and of course anything with Leon. 

 

And so some highlights were the scene with the shadow eye, first Geraldine trying to sacrifice her eye, Leon freaking out about it, it slamming onto Seth’s face and him going absolutely crazy 🤣. Seth and Caleb getting farther and farther along. Them finally having complete spicy time, then their parents walking in 🫣🤣 Xavier getting his wings back, everyone encouraging and supporting him, and when he felt Darius and his mom flying with him 🥺. And the Darcy and Lance hate sex 🤭. Leon and Dante searching for Gabriel and finding washer with his butt whistle 🫣🤣. 

 

Y’all, I swear restless stars has to be better. Like I hope they did a thorough clean up so it’s not so much of a mess as this book 😩.
