I think the best word to describe this book is honest. It was raw and real just like all the books from her I’ve read. It doesn’t try and hide the truth or anything like that with pretty words like a lot of poetry books do. My only problem with it is that with Rupi Kaur’s poetry books I feel like I’m reading the same thing over and over again.
