Kill Her Twice by Stacey Lee

took a while but i figured i didn’t really enjoy it as much as i wished? the themes and overall concept were really compelling and the setting interested me and i liked the characters but at first i couldn’t really separate gemma from may bc their voices sounded so similar — i only rly distinguished one from the other ab 30%+ through and it made it super hard to get past that first act. uhhh i also thought the plot itself was kinda disjointed or perhaps paced weirdly but that might just be a preferential thing. i’d probably still recommend if 20th century historical fiction is ur thing bc i did find that aspect immersive and fun.
