audiobook narrator is not my cup of tea, but it was manageable. the whole middle half had me smiling like an idiot. the "conflict" seemed a bit weak to me but was also kind of interesting because I just rewatched about time and a lot of my thoughts were around how tim uses time travel to sorta manipulate mary into a relationship + how the men can shape stuff to their liking and the women hardly seem to have agency. anyway, that's a tangential rant.
