The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

5.0

Such a beautiful tale of family, honour and love in the midst of war. It is such a moving portrayal of brotherhood and culture, and an insight into the culture of Afghanistan and the experience of being a refugee. It's focus on love and family connection humanises the experience becoming separated from loved ones by war and conflict. Such a brilliant and emotional read giving credit to the real experience of generational trauma.
