What I Liked:
  • This is one of the best books I've ever read. TJR's writing style is just BEAUTIFUL.
  • These characters were so genuine and well-rounded and diverse.
  • This was like a memoir within a story and I could not put it down - I NEEDED to know what happened to Evelyn next.
  • The ending. Unreal. I was expecting to be disappointed, but my God it was just beautiful.
  • TJR did a fabulous job of really capturing the feeling of Old Hollywood - one of my favorite time periods to read about.

You Should Read If You Like:
  • Old Hollywood
  • Any other TJR book, specifically Daisy Jones and Malibu Rising
