I feel like I have been waiting 84 years for this book.

I was hesitantly optimistic going into this book. I was BLOWN AWAY with how happy I was with Showalter's decision in having Gilly and William not together.

Sunny is such an amazing character. She continued to challenge William on the things he had thought his entire life. She was truly the perfect choice for him with her warrior like strength and her sass. I loved getting to know not only her, but her race as well. Adding that dynamic to the world allows for a lot more story to be told. Clearly this book was an end of an arc of the story of this world.

William finding his coder in Sunny and getting to know Axel was amazing! I FINALLY FEEL like we got some real growth out of his character. Watching him open up to Sunny about the book was truly a joy. I also enjoy how all of that worked.

The on page chemistry of Sunny and William was THROUGH THE ROOF!!
