this book is very readable for someone at any level, but the material is difficult to read emotionally. wiesel’s explanation of his experiences in the holocaust are horrifying and jarring. the details he told to include make his story easy to follow and emotional impactful. i truly believe that he accomplished his goal of being a ‘messenger’ in this book. i think everyone should read his story.
