Master of the Game by Sidney Sheldon
5.0
I’ll say this piece of work is one of THE BEST of author’s. This is an amazing page turner which made me sit all day and night with it, whenever I got time. The key point you’ll see everywhere in this novel is POWER. What power means to each person and what a person can do or go to any extent to attain that power. Meantime, no matter how powerful you are or the power you attain on the road to struggle, at the end all it matters is righteous mindset. “You reap what you sow”. This novel discusses in detail about everything - consistency, betrayal, revenge, love, affair, dominance, hope, control. I really enjoyed how each characterisation is sculptured, like the character is so authentic and brings you chill. Each character will make you feel what it exactly want you to feel. There are moments in-between chapters where you will feel like “WHAT” (accompanies various mood) when the power shifts from one character to another. This novel is like 3 season of series, such a huge story. Only Sidney Sheldon can put everything inside 489 pages. This is one hell of a novel. If you’re looking for best suspense thriller, then this is the one you’re looking for.
