John obviously did a lot of research for this thriller set in North Korea, even though details of North Korea often read like science fiction. Jenna's twin sister disappeared from a beach in South Korea when they were teenagers. Twelve years later, Jenna discovers that her sister might still be alive, abducted by North Korea, and she will stop at nothing to find her. Jenna's exploits are definitely over the top, but this was a great debut and I look forward to more from John.
