The October Country by Ray Bradbury

dark emotional funny mysterious sad tense medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated

3.5

This was so wonderful. I’d forgotten the joys of short stories and particularly of Bradbury. Definitely was a little unsettling some of the stories that made me feel quite uneasy and a bit paranoid about the dark, but I loved it. My only problem with Bradbury’s short stories is that they’re so delicious and so easy to get into it feels like when it ends it’s never enough.
