I enjoyed the start of this book more than the ending. You could tell both the characters were super into each other but they couldn’t see it. And then they end up in a fake dating situation.

It took far too long for anything to happen between them where they thought to themselves like could this be a real thing. Like I kept waiting and waiting and then we were finally supposed to get a first kiss moment and okay Bree was flipping out about this first kiss. First she was like no there shall be no kissing but then it was like well we have to and Nathan was going to kiss her for their carpet premiere but he ended up having a bit of a panic attack so she did it and gave him the worlds quickest peck on the lips and then she spazzed out about it to herself. I was like that barely counted as a kiss settle down. And then it felt like forever after that before something else happened.

I thought the characters were really likeable but buildup of their relationship just took too long for me. And then every time I thought the book was going to end by the end there was another chapter and then an epilogue. I got kind of taken out of the story the further it progressed.
