hamnet is a captivating story of family and grief told through william shakespeares family. what is interesting is that william is never explicitly mentioned, though the book is clearly about him. instead, the story focuses on his family particularly his son and wife. this book tackles grief in such an original way without feeling tacky or insensitive towards the death it is based off. i’m truly in awe at this book.
