I know Mistborn is like the Sanderson Magnum Opus. Or something. I know everyone loves Mistborn. I, however, do not.  I find it a lot more predictable and contrived than other books, I don't find the characters as interesting and loveable, and I feel like the most interesting characters don't always get a chance

Zane in this book, for example. I was rather annoyed when he got Darth Mauled.

So I made it through this. I probably eventually listen to the third at the insistence of my husband, but I don't really like the series. Warbreaker and Elantris were much better books in my opinion.
