You can definitely tell just how young she was when she wrote this. While her personal anecdotes give flavor to her advice, the advice is still rather generic, though the way she wrote about her relationship with God and prayer was insightful (that could be because I don’t read much about religion though). I’m currently the age she was when she wrote this and no matter what I don’t believe anyone my age should be writing a book of life advice.

A lot has happened in her life and journey as an actress since this book was published, and it makes me wonder what this book would be like had she waited until now to write it or how she feels about this book now.
