The thought and attention to details that goes into these manga adaptations always amazes me, and I was especially blown away by the representation of Hamlet's duality here! I really appreciated the care that was put into making sure the story was clear enough to be understood but not overexplained so that readers would be unable to pull their own reading of the text from the material presented. Reading Crystal Chan's notes at the end of the book really made me curious to see the marked up version of the script that was used as a guide for these scenes! Ultimately, a major highlight of the manga for me was getting to watch Hamlet's relationship with Horatio unfold. They're so cute and tender, and I did tear up by the end.
