In the Prince's Bed by Sabrina Jeffries
4.0
Probably my least favorite in the trilogy, but that doesn’t mean it was a bad book at all, I just liked the last two more.
Alec Black and Katherine Merivale were a great match. One of the scenes that stick out in my mind is when Katherine drags Alec to another one of her suitor’s poetry readings. Alec clearly doesn’t want to be there but doesn’t mind it as much as he thought because he got to touch Katherine. Later on that same day, I think while still at poetry reading, he takes her to a private area and they make out for a while. And if I remember correctly someone spots them and/or interrupts them.
One thing that did bother me a little was the deception at the start of their courtship. That was probably the reason why it was my least favorite in the trilogy. Sometimes that story line works for me and sometimes it doesn't and this one didn't.
Other than that it was an enjoyable book and being only the second book I had read by SJ it made me want to read more by her.
